What is a paint defect?

What is a paint defect? A paint defect can be a wide range of things.

For example 'Swirl marks' which are hundreds and thousands of circle like micro scratches in the paints surface, these are normally caused by improper washing techniques, drive through car washes and possibly even dirty washing equipment such as sponges or mitts.
Another example are 'Water spots' which are dried up spots of water that have left behind any sediments and or chemicals that were in the water. This usually occurs when the water on the car is high in minerals and or sediments.
Believe it or not Bird droppings can be extremely damaging to a vehicles paint work. Due to the fact it contains acid which overtime will etch into the paintwork. if caught soon enough this type of blemishes can be removed.

Gloss enchantment

Our main focus during Gloss enhancements is to restore a depth full show worthy gloss finish to your vehicles paintwork. Due to the nature and aim of this service there is minimal defect correction. we usually see a 30-50% correction take place due to the machine polishing.

Unlike our Gloss enhancement, Part correction consists of a defect removal stage to remove 75-85% of defects within the paintwork. We then move on to enhancing the gloss which in return gives an extremely glossy, depth full finish to your vehicles paintwork. Overall

your vehicle will be left with a showroom worthy gloss finish with minimal defects remaining.

Full correction

Our full correction is an intense service for those that are looking to restore they're vehicles paintwork to a near as possible 'factory finish'. It consists of prolonged time correcting up to 95% of the defects in the paint surface. We then spend time perfecting the gloss of the paintwork to truly transform your vehicles paint to the 'factory finish' you as the customer desire.
